What Am I Paying For?

Legs for Change donates funds from the sale of every item toward social causes. What does that mean?

Each pair of leggings or apparel has an associated printing cost, plus the cost of the designer (where applicable), shipping, and overhead associated with running the Legs for Change store. Because we are an online store we are able to keep our costs relatively low. For any given piece of merchandise we try to target 30% of the item price to be donated toward social causes. When you're designing a custom pair of leggings, flip flops, or other custom apparel, you can build in a specific dollar amount or % of product price to go toward your charity or cause of choice to reach your fundraising goals.

When we sell bulk orders we are able to get the product cost lower, which means we have more room to make social impact! That's why we love working directly with charities and groups to create apparel inspired by them, for them. However, we have the capability to create custom leggings on demand, even if it's only one pair. Individuals and organizations can create custom leggings for sale to the general public on our store or can buy in bulk to sell at events. Having your custom leggings sold on Legs for Change is optional and subject to approval, but highly encouraged - let's get lots of legs taking positive steps!
